Q&A: gift card module - problem with emails

Hello, we bought your modul - Gift Cards - sell voucher codes to our Prestashop, but after first trial I did not succeed with sending email to gifted person. Than I tried it manually in Customer account on web. There is the voucher generated, but when I want to send it to "friend" mail. Any mail is not recieved. I have followed your tutorial,but it still same. We would like to have gift cards to sell in our eshop. When customer buy it, the mail with generated number will be sent to his mail. Is it possible? Thanks for your tip.

firstly i want to describe the way of how this module works (cases related to sending emails)

1. when customer orders the gift card, module automatically send:
   - email with information about gift card (gift card code included to email)
2. Then customer can fill out form from "my account" section where gift can be send to friend. Module sends then:
   - email with personalized gift card (friends name, gift sender name, some wishes)

Usually problems are related to fact, that there is no translation of emails for langauge your shop uses.

Can you please verify:

1. go to shop back office
2. go to localization > translations
3. select "email translations", core and click on language version that you use in your shop (if several languages check each available language)
4. do you see there some notifications that there is no email template translations?
5. if so - just define translations

You can check email log to see where the problem is too.

1. please go to preferences > emails
2. you can find there log related outgoinf emails
3. do you see there some errors?
4. if so - error code explains what is the problem and how to fix it.
