Q&A: Move products from subcategories to other category

I'm user of your mass products move prestashop module

i could not move products sub-sub-category of Category X  to subcategory of Category Y

this module just simply does not work

How to move products from subcategories to other category

hello,

Module moves product form selected categories to other categories. If your product is not associated with category X - product will not be moved (because there is no association with category X). If your product is in subcategory of category X - you can still select all subcategories of category X from categories tree selection.

This simply means that:

- if you want to move products from CATEGORY X and from all SUBCATEGORIES of CATEGORY X - you just have to select whole tree of CATEGORY X.
