Create extra product tab with unique contents in PrestaShop

Hi again Milos,

i just bought the module but i wonder if there is something like tutorial for this.I want 3 tabs for every product page But for every product i want to have different content. Do i have to make tabs for every product separately?

Hello

you can achieve it in two ways

1) define tabs for each products separately

2) define 3 "global" tabs, and create unique contents for products

let me explain point (2).

Let's say that you created tab "additional description".

Module has options to displays tabs on various product pages, these options are available under "TAB VISIBILITY RULES" section. You can select there options to display tabs on product pages associated with selected categories, manufacturers, on selected product pages etc. i reffer to this section:

If you will activate option to "display tab everywhere": http://i.imgur.com/IM0vLIg.png module will display this tab on each product page.

Tab that appears everywhere on list of tabs looks like: http://i.imgur.com/Nv4TA8r.png (sorry i have no idea what color is this :D )

So, simply saying, if you will go to any product page you will see this tab, the same if you will open product edit page - tab will be available on each product edit page.

now the most important thing

You can define different contents for this tab depending on viewed products.

while you will edit the tab contents just tick option "Save in this context only". Module will save contents only for product you edit. And you can do the same for each product, so in effect you will have:

1) one tab "additional description"

2) different contents of tab for selected products
