examples of gift card module usage

Hi, I wish to know is with "Prestashop Gift Cards - sell voucher codes" I can create univolcal codes usable in the following mode: 

Example 1: (1) I sell a Gift Card of 50€, (2) the buyer uses the Gift Card code to buy a product of 50€, (3) the Gift Card expires because finished credits. 

Example 2: (1) I sell a Gift Card of 50€, (2) the buyer uses the Gift Card code to buy a product of 30€, (3) the Gift Card code stille has 20€ for next purchases. 

Example 3: (1) I sell a Gift Card of 50€, (2) the buyer uses the Gift Card code to buy a product of 70€, (3) the Gift Card expire and the buyer should pay the difference of 20€ in Prestashop. Thanks.

This is how the voucher codes works in prestashop, if customer will use all available credits it will be not possible to use the code again.

Example 2: (1) I sell a Gift Card of 50€, (2) the buyer uses the Gift Card code to buy a product of 30€, (3) the Gift Card code stille has 20€ for next purchases. 

PrestaShop is ready to support this kind of feature. It is called 'partial use'. During configuration of voucher code you can activate option "partial use" so each gift card generated by the module will have this option enabled.

This is how prestashop works. When you will create voucher code in shop worth 50€ and customer will use it during checkout with cart worth €70 - customer will have to pay 20€.

And regarding your question about "partial use": yes, it is. During configuration of "gift card" you can peronalize the settings of code that will be generated. You can turn on / off "partial use" option there.
