Limited resources - how to generate products feed for facebook ads purposes?
Hello
503 error means "overloaded",
Facebook cant open the url because of some limited resources.
Do you recently added some new products to shop?
Do you recently downgraded the hosting account parameters?
I mentioned this because to generate large list of products you need enough resources, the more products you have, the more resources prestashop need to build full list of products.
Module "pixel feed" is ready to support stores hosted on accounts where you've got some limits.
The only one thing you have to do is to split one large feed of products into several parts that will not require as much resources as one large feed.
How to generate several feeds with products?
there are at least 2 ways to split feed:

there are at least 2 ways to split feed:
- create filters- open module configuration page (catalog > facebook pixel feed export)
- filter products by selected option: manufacturer, categories, suppliers
- each time you will change the filter, module will update the url with feed
- thanks to this you can generate several various filters to limit the number of the products in feed
- go to your facebook ads account and add these several urls as an unique "source of products" (facebook allows to add as many sources of products as you want) - limit products in feed manually (i suggest to use this method)- lets say that your shop has 3000 products
- lets say that we will split the feed with products into 3 smaller parts (3x1000)
- open module configuration page (catalog > facebook pixel feed export)
part 1
- set the "limit number of products in feed" to 1000
- set the page number to 1
- copy url of the feed and add it to facebook
part 2
- set the "limit number of products in feed" to 1000
- set the page number to 2
- copy url of the feed and add it to facebook
part 3
- set the "limit number of products in feed" to 1000
- set the page number to 3
- copy url of the feed and add it to facebook
by:- set the "limit number of products in feed" to 1000
- set the page number to 3
I reffer to these options:
