Unassign products form "NEW" category in bulk

 Hi, I want to Buy this moduel to move products between categories: https://mypresta.eu/modules/administration-tools/mass-assign-move-products-to-categories.html. I have one question: I have category "NEW" with 1000 products, but 500 of them is old, I want to remove at bulk this 500 products from this category. Is it possible or no? ( this 500 old products have his own category). Thank you!

This module has 3 steps wizard that helps with configuration.

In context of what you expect you will need to:

STEP 1

if the 500 products you mentioned have own unique category - you just can select products by this category (select the category with these products only):

STEP 2

in this step you decide what to do with products defined in step 1.

select here option to "unassign selected products from categories" and set option "do you want to change default category for selected 'target products'" to no (or yes if you want to change default category of these products)

STEP 3

You mentioned that you want to remove these 500 products from category "NEW",

in this step select "NEW" category from list of categories.

then click on "MASS UPDATE" button and module will unassign these 500 items from "NEW" category :-)
