Shortcode to run hook and spawn html box pro module contents

 

Hi, we are interested on your HTML BOx Pro module. Could you please give us an exemple of code to implement on tpl files to display a custom Hook that we could create by using your module? You think your module would be appropriate to create custom slideshows to be placed on different pages of our website. If not what module would you recommend us? Thank you in advance!

Module can be used to create slideshows, that's not a problem. But the devil is in the details.
Module itself does not have aby predefined slideshows. It just gives possibility to add own contents. Code of these contents depends on you.
If you've got a code that will create slideshow - you will be able to use this code in our module - in effect you will create slideshow on your shop's front office.

You asked about custom hook and its usage.
So, let's say that you used our module to create custom hook: 

with name myCustomHook

to add this hook execution to theme it is enough to add this shortcode to your theme files:

{hook h='myCustomHook'}
and that's all. PrestaShop will run this hook and display html box pro module contents you added to this hook.
