I need a tool to help me avoid bot registrations in PrestaShop, would it be possible with this module (activate account by email) ?

with this feature (account activation with email: https://mypresta.eu/modules/front-office-features/account-activation-by-email-link.html ) bots will still create accounts in your shop. But these accounts will not be active.
as i suppose you want to avoid fake registrations, so it will not help.
to solve the problem with bots i developed a module: https://mypresta.eu/modules/administration-tools/customer-register-spam-protection.html
its an addon dedicated to protect register form in prestashop. it will for sure solve problems with bots submitting register form with fake datas.
